Independent speed benchmarks by Artificial Analysis show Nano Banana 2.1 takes about 16 seconds per 1K image (vs 8.3s for Nano Banana 2 and 3.1s for 2 Lite), yet it remains the fastest model in the AA-Image-T2I v2.0 top 6, with every higher-ranked model at least 3.3x slower.
