Forbes debuts Agentic 20 list spotlighting AI agents doing real-world work
annatonger · x · 2026-10-09
Forbes has published its inaugural Agentic 20 list, highlighting 20 companies and projects deploying AI agents beyond coding and calendar triage into messier real-economy tasks — answering funeral homes' overnight calls, negotiating with suppliers, and handling grunt work businesses avoid. The list frames agents that take action on users' behalf as a much larger market opportunity than answer-generating software.
