Prompting trick: show the AI bad examples alongside good ones
bigaiguy · x · 2026-10-08
A practical few-shot prompting tip: in addition to ideal outputs, include bad examples and ask the model to explain the key differences, then generate a new response that follows the good example while avoiding the bad one. This clarifies your standards more effectively. Combine with the template shared earlier (task goal + several input/output example pairs + new input) by replacing placeholders and running it. Caveat: examples guide the model but don't guarantee perfection.
