Google's Flow Music Plugin Generator Turns Text Prompts Into Audio Effects Plugins
teropa · x · 2026-10-08
Developer Nikolozi demoed Google's Flow Music plugin generator, which builds audio plugins from natural-language prompts:
- Asked for a high-quality studio reverb, it produced a Schroeder-based implementation that works.
- A Josh Wink-style resonant filter got a decent-but-imperfect attempt.
- The UI needs work, but the system can dynamically load plugin bundles, so generated plugins drop straight into a working setup.
An early hands-on look at prompt-generated audio plugins entering the music production toolchain.
