MiniMax H3 struggles with fast-paced sports anime clips, creator finds Seedance 2.0 far better
AmoebaOwn9169 · reddit · 2026-10-08
The creator tested a sports-anime-style short video workflow in Morphic: generate a Japanese-style athlete character, build a character sheet, create an empty badminton court scene, then merge all characters into one still frame to reduce animation errors, with an LLM helping write the video prompt.
MiniMax H3 underperformed on the fast-paced animation: out of a 15-second clip the ending fell apart and had to be trimmed. Running the same workflow and prompts on Seedance 2.0 produced noticeably different (better) results, and a detailed comparison post is promised.
