Beff Jezos: Physics and math academia became decelerated, only acceleration is the way out
beffjezos · x · 2026-10-08
e/acc founder Beff Jezos echoes physicist Eric Weinstein's claim that with funding dried up decades ago, mathematicians and physicists became a senior club deliberately slowing the pace and direction of research. Jezos argues status games collapse this way and "no one can stop the knowledge production acceleration" — the only way out is to accelerate through.
