Burkov: frontier models can't vibe-code Photoshop; video data mostly worthless for visual reasoning

ML author Andriy Burkov argues that at the current level of visual reasoning, frontier models have no chance of vibe-coding a competitive Photoshop alternative or CAD software. He adds that while stealing text from humanity is easy, useful visual information is not: TikTok videos are useless crap, and most YouTube videos offer little value for training frontier visual reasoners.
