Ben Affleck says he can write "pretty shitty Python scripts" and explained on-camera how to convert images into tensors of batch, frame and RGB values, then run convolutional neural networks for edge detection and feature extraction — the precursor tech to transformers. He notes film VFX workflows have used ML for years and he's worked extensively with GPUs. A quoted tweet adds he used his celebrity status to get private looks at Google and OpenAI's video models.
