Microsoft's Nvidia-powered Surface RTX Spark Dev Box is up for preorder at $5,999, shipping in November. It runs Nvidia's Arm-based RTX Spark platform with 128GB unified memory and a 100W envelope, targets local AI workloads (claims models exceeding 120B parameters), and ships as a Project Zenith device with a dev-optimized Windows 11 Pro setup including VS Code, Copilot, and WSL. It's pricier than last year's DGX Spark, with component shortages pushing prices up.
