Inside Ambarella: the low-power vision chips set to power robots, drones and AI glasses
Scobleizer · x · 2026-10-08
Robert Scoble toured Ambarella's Santa Clara headquarters as part of his deep dive into the Silicon Valley robotics ecosystem. The company builds tiny chips that run AI models at very low power — already inside GoPro cameras and aimed at drones, autonomous vehicles, medical devices and AI glasses. He calls the long interview a college-level class on the edge-AI silicon expected to power a large share of future robots and camera-based devices.
