timrudner · x · 2026-10-07
Tim Rudner announced recruitment for the Oxford AIMS PhD program: a fully funded 4-year studentship jointly with the Oxford Martin AI Governance Initiative and the EPSRC CDT, starting October 2027, focused on AI safety and alignment.
The lab is also hiring postdocs for the 2-year Fields Institute–Principles of Intelligence fellowship (CAD $70k–90k/year), researching formal methods for frontier AI agents: temporal logics for specifying agent behaviour, runtime monitors and enforcement, and probabilistic guarantees for stochastic policies. Rolling admissions; strong verification/ML research background expected.
