Anaconda Combines Coding Agent Swarms and AI Attack Testing After Three Acquisitions
shashib · x · 2026-10-07
Anaconda's October 6 release pairs coordinated coding agents with AI security testing on one Python stack, built on three 2026 acquisitions: Outerbounds (April, production workflows), Kilo Code (July, agent coordination), and Enkrypt AI (August 4, security testing and guardrails).
- Kilo brings agent swarms to Visual Studio Code: one agent maps a login flow while another writes tests, coordinating via a shared board.
- Enkrypt runs adversarial tests across 300+ attack categories and can block risky actions; it reports 73% of scanned tool servers had vulnerabilities.
- Outerbounds carries workflows into production.
Customer IntraPhone says Kilo took them from a two-decade backlog to 'running out of tickets,' with the new constraint being individual throughput — hence agent swarms for parallel workstreams. CEO David DeSanto: customers can 'secure as fast as they build.' Anaconda Scale virtual conference on October 15.
