Viral AI-generated 'pregnancy' video actually depicts a life-threatening ectopic pregnancy

A science account (MedicalNews) posted an AI-generated video showing how 'crazy the pregnancy process actually is,' drawing amazed reactions. Developer David Aronchick pointed out that the imagery actually depicts an ectopic pregnancy — implantation outside the uterus, which is nonviable and can kill the mother if untreated — not a normal pregnancy.
The episode is a textbook case of AI-generated content being visually stunning but factually wrong: the model renders a pathological condition as a normal process, easily misleading viewers without medical knowledge.
