Spira Maxima ties open-source release to 2M views or 5K followers

Spira launched Spira Maxima 1.0, billed as the most complete text-to-social-video model: plain text in, a finished social video out, complete with presenter, trending B-roll, motion, captions and music, ready to post and chase traffic.
Unlike other video generation models, Spira Maxima is post-trained on trending videos and performance data, so each generation follows what is working on the feed right now. The team says it generated thousands of videos the day before and took the #1 spot on launch day by a wide margin.
The open-source release is gated: it drops when the post hits 2M views or @SpiraAI reaches 5K followers. The reposter notes the follower target is far easier than 2M views on a single launch post, and questions what "open source" actually means here — full weights would be huge, a wrapper would be very different.
