Replit CEO: AI Reverse Engineering Is So Good All Software Will Be De Facto Open-Source

Replit founder and CEO Amjad Masad posted on X that progress in AI-powered reverse engineering and decompilation is "absolutely insane," and that pretty soon all software will effectively become open-source — AI will make binaries readable and modifiable even without source code. He added: "AI is coming for everything and everyone."
