Dev builds MCP server that rewrites Claude output in your voice, using 3-layer agent memory
nhrkhare · reddit · 2026-10-07
Reddit user nkhare built Thirdraft, an MCP server that gives Claude your personal writing voice via four tools: sample collection (with guardrails against AI-generated text poisoning the profile), a plain-English voice summary, fact-preserving rewrites, and usage status.
The voice profile uses a 3-layer memory design based on Oracle's agent memory post: episodic (embedded samples retrieved by nearest-neighbor, so team updates pull quick-update examples), semantic (a structured style profile: sentence length, openings, phrases you never use), and reflective (small evidence-backed updates instead of full regeneration, so one weird week doesn't rewrite your identity).
The profile caught habits the author never noticed: hedging phrases, lowercase in Slack but not email, almost zero exclamation points. Open questions remain on reliably triggering the rewrite tool at task end and how many samples are needed to stop being generic.
