Stripe Rebuilds Its Entire Stack as AI Economic Infrastructure, From Agent Wallets to Metered Billing

Former Stripe executive jeffweinstein announced he's back at Stripe, quoting Patrick Collison: nearly every layer of the Stripe stack is being reshaped for AI.
The lineup includes agent wallets via Link and Privy, MPP, Tempo, MCP, Stripe CLI, an Agentic Commerce Suite, sandboxes, OpenRouter integration, Metronome/metered billing, and Radar-based fraud and distillation/token-abuse defenses. Collison calls it "the economic infrastructure for AI" and says it's a great time to join to build high-scale software enabling practical AI deployment.
