Cursor iOS app adds remote control for local coding agents, on by default
tetsuoai · x · 2026-10-07
Cursor's iOS app now lets you see and message local agents running on your computer: sign in on iOS, tap your machine, approve pairing on desktop, and agents appear in a list for watching or messaging.
Details:
- Agents keep running locally; the app only connects, so the computer must stay on and online
- Optional "Keep this computer awake" setting under Remote Control (requires power and lid open)
- On by default for everyone except Enterprise, where admins enable it in Org settings > Security and identity > Remote control
- No cloud agents required, available today
