Founders School's Founders Weekend for ages 9-16 saw students across 10 cities earn $23,715.59 in total, with 34 students in Miami alone making $12k.
The format: kids show up with an idea, and over two days with mentors they decide what to sell and land their first paying customers. The companion Build Weekend has them ship a real, internet-live app in one weekend using the same AI stack pros use — Cursor, Replit, and Stripe. Last round, an 11-year-old designed and built transforming 3D-printed chess sets entirely with AI. Next event is October 24-25.
