AI support company Decagon, co-developing with Instinct, has open-sourced the Personal Agent Consent & Trust Protocol (PACT) and joined Muse's Personal Agent Protocol working group.
- Built on A2A and OAuth, PACT lets businesses verify who a personal agent is acting for and what the customer has authorized it to do.
- The goal is to shape the industry trust standard for how personal agents interact with businesses.
- Investor Josh Elman, in a retweet, called trusted agent protocols "a key battleground between agents and service providers" in the coming years.
