brrr: Open-Source GPU Stress Test for BF16, FP8, MXFP4 and NVFP4
ypatil125 · x · 2026-10-07
brrr is a low-precision GPU stress test inspired by gpu-burn, which only stresses fp64/fp32/tf32. brrr adds BF16, FP8, MXFP8, MXFP4 and NVFP4, fills 90% of each GPU's memory, and verifies results bit-for-bit via cuBLASLt/cuDNN. It's more sensitive to broken GPUs than gpu-burn, and ships with Docker, make, and Kubernetes examples (requires driver 580+, CUDA 13).
