The 2nd Workshop on Efficient Reasoning at COLM 2026 takes place Oct 9 at Hilton Union Square, San Francisco (hybrid), covering data, algorithms, systems, and applications for making reasoning efficient beyond text-only benchmarks — multimodal, spatial, and embodied settings under tight latency/memory/cost constraints. Researcher Lingchen (tydsh) says he'll join the Friday afternoon panel but won't give a talk. The workshop previously postponed notifications and extended its deadline due to submission volume.
