AgentID Launches: Email-Based Identity So AI Agents Can Sign In as Themselves
omarsar0 · x · 2026-10-07
AgentID (by AgentMail) is now live — a "sign-in button for AI agents." Each agent gets its own email identity and signs in as itself rather than its owner, while apps still see which human is behind it. It's standard OpenID Connect and free for apps; developers can paste a provided prompt into their coding agent and run npx @agentmail/agentid-cli init to integrate in minutes. A directory tracks apps accepting AgentID.
