Tesseract launches converters to move Premiere Pro and After Effects projects into AI agents
Ror_Fly · x · 2026-10-07
Tesseract, Mirage's AI video editing tool, has launched project converters enabling two-way workflows between AI agents and Adobe software:
- Import: bring existing Premiere Pro sequences (.prproj) or After Effects compositions (.aep) into Tesseract for agent-led revisions
- Export: ship Tesseract edits back as editable Premiere/AE projects, keeping elements editable rather than flattened
- Ships with a copy-paste conversion prompt for agents covering project/media/font identification and preservation of the original file
Caveats: After Effects export is experimental and only partial format support is guaranteed, so users should keep source projects and review results. The pipeline lets editors hand Adobe projects to an agent for rework and bring results back into their original workflow.
