Dev builds first Unity game with Claude, fixes boss-scale bug via Codex and playtesting

A developer shared FrogPop, their first Unity game built largely with Claude (inspired by Bubble Trouble): you play a frog popping bouncing bubbles with its tongue, with bugs and relics that change combat. Claude handled the tongue attack, bubble splitting, waves, shop logic, and bosses; Codex was used mainly for debugging and testing.
Their workflow: describe one mechanic at a time, let Claude read the involved scripts, then playtest in Unity. Example: a serpent boss whose head, body, and tail looked like different scales was fixed by having Codex adjust three rig settings while keeping original textures, then checking attacks visually in Unity—"seeing it move" mattered more than code compiling. First 10 waves are free in-browser; the full game is headed to Steam.
