Open-source Tesseract converters let AI agents edit Premiere Pro and After Effects projects directly
LinusEkenstam · x · 2026-10-07
Tesseract released open-source converters that turn .prproj (Premiere Pro) and .aep (After Effects) files into its own .tsrct format — no computer use, no Adobe UI. The workflow: hand an old project to your agent, let it recut or revise the edit, then export back to Adobe for the final pass, with supported elements staying editable (AE export is experimental). A ready-made prompt ships with the skill, and the big win is running 10 projects in parallel instead of one timeline at a time.
