Open-source Tesseract converters let Claude natively edit Premiere and After Effects projects
LinusEkenstam · x · 2026-10-07
Mirage added open-source converters to Tesseract, its creative suite for agents, letting Claude and ChatGPT natively create and edit Premiere (.prproj) and After Effects (.aep) files — no computer use or Adobe UI needed. Projects work both ways: hand old Adobe projects to an agent to recut, then pull them back into Premiere for final passes, or run multiple projects in parallel. The team says compatibility isn't perfect yet and invites contributions.
