The Allen Institute for AI (Ai2) is running a thread of employee intro posts ahead of COLM 2026. Student researcher Jacob Morrison presents two poster papers, Branch-Adapt-Route and The Hidden Cost of Thinking, with co-authors including Matei Zaharia and Noah Smith. The series doubles as recruiting: Ai2 has a booth and an open house and is hiring senior engineers, pre-docs and interns.
