AI for Math Fund adds $17.1M from XTX Markets, backing 22 projects across 30 organizations

Renaissance Philanthropy and XTX Markets announced an additional $17.1M in grants from the AI for Math Fund, bringing total commitments to $35.1M.
- 22 winners representing 30+ organizations were selected from 400+ applications across 50 countries, exceeding the originally announced $10.5M
- Grants range from $100K to $1M for 12–24 months of work, scored by nearly 40 field experts
- Portfolio themes: benchmarks/evaluation/datasets, infrastructure and tooling, foundational research and frontier bets, and field-building
Mathematician Alex Kontorovich thanked the fund and congratulated the winners.
