- Minerva Humanoids unveiled Roger, a humanoid built for dangerous jobs in energy and public safety: the robot takes the risk while human experts stay safe and in control, with no full autonomy required.
- The company raised funding with participation from General Catalyst, Credo Ventures, and LongJourney Ventures; angel investor lukasmziegler, who has deployed quadrupeds, drones and mobile robots in energy and oil & gas, called it one of the toughest markets.
- The team claims the robot went from idea to walking in 5 months.
