mysid: a native Rust MCP server giving Claude code graphs and clean file tools
techyphile7 · reddit · 2026-10-06
The author released mysid, a native Rust MCP server for Claude Desktop and other AI tools, born from watching Claude fumble PowerShell/ripgrep escaping and hallucinated flags across failed turns.
It offers standardized native tools: fast shell-free file inspection, caller/callee code graphs for tracing upstream and downstream flows before edits, multi-stack adapters (React, Android/NDK, Spring Boot, Rust), Android ADB and build tools with token-filtered errors and Wi-Fi device connections. It ships as a zero-dependency 3MB Rust binary over stdio with <20ms latency—no Python or Node runtime needed.
