AI tools quietly ate 44 GB of his disk, so he built free cleaner Sparewise

A developer found his C: drive quietly filled by AI tooling: 32.5 GB of Hugging Face local model caches (including outdated versions he'd already upgraded past), 7.7 GB of Claude VM bundles, and 8.3 GB of pip/uv caches. So he built Sparewise, a free Windows app to reclaim that space.
The tool lists every local model with its size and last-use date but never deletes models itself — it only clears caches that rebuild automatically, with undo for every action. No account, no telemetry. Still early and solo, not yet code-signed; the author is seeking honest feedback.
