Vibe町 update: NPCs now switch between casual chat and deep cultural explanations
Merzmensch · x · 2026-10-06
Merzmensch updated his Japanese-learning app Vibe町: you can now adjust the communication level with NPCs — from short and easy casual chat to complex cultural explanations. In the demo, an NPC explains "Angura," the Japanese underground subculture between dadaism and fluxus focused on experimental theater. The layered depth lets the same NPC serve as both conversation partner and culture teacher.
