Creator turns AI fight video into pixel art with Claude driving Blender, shares hard-won lessons

Creator aicreataro shared the full making-of his "Dot battle" video: fight footage and audio were generated with Seedance 2.0, then Opus 5.5 was used to drive Blender, Python, and After Effects to convert the footage into a dot/pixel aesthetic.
The pipeline analyzes character silhouettes and depth to replace frames with colored dots, switches dot size, color, and background every half-beat, and triggers effects like squashed particles, bursts toward the camera, and bullet-time orbits on each hit.
Key lessons from iteration: dots that are too large lose readability, too small lose style; switching every half-beat and squashing particles on impact made it far more dynamic; constant speed gets monotonous so pauses are essential; heavy particle explosions made characters unreadable, so bursts must be subtle and short. His takeaway: trial and error still matters most in the AI era.
