Lumen Velar Returns to Courant3D With Four Talks on AI Filmmaking and Workflow Design
LudovicCreator · x · 2026-10-06
AI filmmaking studio Lumen Velar returns to the Courant3D festival in Angoulême next week with four talks on generative AI, filmmaking, animation, and realism; author LudovicCreator also joins the festival jury this year.
His core argument: traditional filmmaking and generative AI shouldn't be opposing worlds. Rather than building films around a technology, the film should decide the technology — picking the right method (animation, live action, VFX, 3D, genAI) for every shot.
