Ethan Mollick: betting on ASI is how labs dodge hard decisions about AI today

Wharton professor Ethan Mollick used a poem to critique current AI policy, especially from the labs: if you believe superintelligence is near, you don't need to make hard decisions about how to build AI to make the world better — just wait for ASI to decide for us. His implicit point is that if ASI doesn't arrive, the deferred decisions remain unmade.
