Anthropic x Adaptyv Protein Design Contest Issue Challenge 2: Design a Better TNF-α Binder
AllThingsApx · x · 2026-10-06
The Anthropic x Adaptyv Protein Design Competition has announced Challenge 2: design a protein binder better than Humira, the best-selling drug ever, for TNF-α, an inflammation marker overexpressed in rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn's disease. The binder must release selectively at pH 6.0 in endosomes to improve drug half-life, and bind both human and mouse TNF-α so the same design can be tested in preclinical models.
