Continuing his argument, the author says faster learning and more intelligence does not make ASI: as long as a human can conceive something genuinely new and an AI cannot, ASI is a logical impossibility.
He adds that calling LLMs "SI" is not science or engineering but marketing — like widening a Ford Pinto's exhaust and calling it a "sport model."
