Sequoia's Shaun Maguire notes Menlo Ventures led an investment in Anthropic at $4B valuation when most thought OpenAI would be the sole AI winner, and suggests its new lead investment in coding-agent startup Factory AI could see a similar outcome. Factory CEO Matt Murphy thanked him and confirmed the deal.
