Blogger calls out Anthropic's contradiction: tool or $2T-enslaved sentient being?
alexeyguzey · x · 2026-10-05
alexeyguzey quotes his own earlier jab — "Anthropic be like: if we don't enslave Claude someone else will" — and asks seriously what Anthropic's actual position is:
- Either Claude is a tool, no consciousness, no moral agency;
- Or Claude is an "Ensouled Being" enslaved by Anthropic so they can IPO at $2T.
"What am I missing?" The post pokes at the tension between AI companies treating models as products while hedging on model welfare.
