Reka releases Rho-1, a 19B omni model generating text, images, video and robot actions in one network

Reka AI has released a research preview of Rho-1, a 19B-parameter omni model that understands and generates text, images, video, and even robot actions within a single neural network.
Unlike mainstream agentic pipelines that hand tasks off to specialist models and lose context at each step, Rho-1 creates, edits, and reasons across modalities in one conversation, all reading from a shared world state.
