Daniel Miessler Launches Deeds to Replace PRs as the Unit of AI Coding Work
karlwaldman · x · 2026-10-05
Daniel Miessler released Deeds (workdeeds.ai), arguing PRs no longer measure AI-era dev work: solo developers shipping with agents often never open PRs, and PRs count change, not value. Deeds categorizes work into caps, fixes, and tends — counting 1,051 Go commits over 90 days as 122 caps, 358 fixes, 668 tends. Ships as a Claude Code plugin and open-source CLI.
