Dev builds Followon MCP so coding agents remember their own follow-ups
TheWebUiGuy · reddit · 2026-10-05
A developer noticed Claude littering PR descriptions with "follow up" items that got lost. So he built Followon, an MCP that gives coding agents a persistent place for work they discover but shouldn't do now: the agent creates the follow-up itself with context on why it matters, and future sessions (or humans) pick it up later.
The flow changes from "agent notices → writes in PR → forgotten" to "agent notices → saves to Followon → picked up later." Free tier available at followon.ai.
