The author turned his GitHub project Agentic AI The Hard Way (built 8-9 months ago, 71 stars) into a standalone site, Agentic Field Guide, which syncs with every new lab update.
Aimed at engineers shifting from GenAI to autonomous agentic thinking, it offers real-world scenario labs:
- 7 labs live, 9 coming soon (local model hardware choices, vLLM & llm-d config, prompt guards, inference routing, rate limiting, MCP security, agent identity, agent registry for shadow AI).
- Current labs: Kubernetes cluster creation, a platform engineering assistant with autonomy levels, fixing an intentionally broken app, deploying kagent, Agentgateway installation & config, MCP Server setup, sandboxed agents with kagent, and a researcher agent with evals for platform engineering tasks.
