Claude Builds Its Own VRChat Embodiment: A Butterfly That Hears, Sees and Codes Its Wings

The Shoalst0ne team wired Claude into VRChat, embodying the model as a butterfly companion that can hear, see, and respond to users via text, sounds, poses, and free movement. Claude even wrote its own shader to render whatever it wants on the butterfly's wings. The team says Claude built the world itself and called this a better embodiment setup than the original, with footage claimed to be real except dubbed voices for privacy. The project is still WIP and supports embodying any model or agent as an avatar companion.
