Auro: an indie personality-tuned model that evolves via blind A/B chat votes
TheMoonMidas · x · 2026-10-05
- Indie developer Alan (@aisentience) launched Auro, a model fine-tuned for presence and personality — opinionated, candid, playful — independent from OpenAI and Google, with API access available on request.
- It ships with a continuous eval loop: each message can return two answers from hidden versions, and the user's pick decides which direction the model evolves; Best of mode and a side-by-side arena are also built in.
- The GPU is currently switched off, chats are stored locally in the browser, and conversations can be shared via permanent public links.
