Dots and Muse AI Coding Tools Can't Resize Browser Below ~500px, Blocking Mobile Testing
pkragthorpe · reddit · 2026-10-05
A web developer testing the AI coding tools Dots and Muse found both share a strange limitation: their virtual browsers can't resize below roughly 500px, so the agents can't verify whether a mobile design actually looks right on real phone viewports.
The poster argues this is an odd sandbox VM constraint that blinds the tools to responsive-design verification, and asks whether others have hit the same wall.
