Reacting to @dgrobinson's resignation, which invoked nuclear safety, Cambridge's David Krueger says he is struck by the lack of interaction between the AI Safety community and existing safety engineering and systems safety communities. He asks whether he is missing something, or whether there has been roughly zero effort to bridge that gap.
