A linear algebra video series explaining what's actually happening inside LLMs, for complete beginners
AndyMasley · x · 2026-10-05
Andy Masley has expanded his video series with much more detail in later episodes, and now calls it a solid introduction to what linear algebra is actually doing inside language models — designed for people who have never taken a linear algebra course.
The series covers how vectors and matrix operations (attention, embeddings, etc.) function within LLMs from scratch, aimed at developers and enthusiasts who want the underlying math without prior background.
