HankYeomans · x · 2026-10-05
Developer ryolu posted a widely resonant thread on "convergence to the mean": when everyone looks at everyone else to decide what to make, we copy what works — language, aesthetics, features — calling it learning from the market, until everything feels polished but interchangeable and nothing is alive. HF's Merve Noyan amplified it, saying she's tired of the lack of authenticity everywhere.
